Blog Bibles Support Local

The Blog Bible posters are complete and popping up around town at your favorite hangouts and destinations. This is perhaps Spokane’s first ever consumer driven grassroots Buy Local campaign.

Poster compliments of Trey at DumbGun.

The Spokane Blog Bible is a handmade miniature guide to the Spokane blogoshpere. Cooperatively produced by a motley crew of local blog writers, the Blog Bible fits in your pocket and is ideal for new comers and old timers alike. Covering topics including bicycling, photography, live music, culture, food, politics and commentary, there is something for everyone in this bright red little book, bursting with local pride.

Challenge yourself by going to a mom and pop shop you have yet to visit.

Another neat aspect of the Blog Bible project is the destination of the pocketbook proceeds. ALL of the after retail revenue is placed in a community trust that will be made available as seed money to another group that produces a good for the betterment of Spokane. The funds will be advertised once they reach $300.00, and the Blog Bible bloggers will vote to determine the recipient group/project via email.  We are paying it forward in an effort to micro-finance the relocalization of our city. Hoorah!
